Style of music is vitiating from alternative rock, to hardcore.
2. Pareidolia is music - a collection of strings, horns, guitars, and computers coming together to create a 'feeling' more than a song. Even the "band" seems passive compared to the music itself: the musicians and visual accompaniment are substituted frequently to keep the focus on the music itself.
Pareidolia's first album, "Glow", features an entire story through the eyes of an anonymous narrator; "lyrics" to the story (though all them have no vocal tracks) are printed in the CD booklet for the listener to interpret. The lyrics simply allow the listener to connect with the material on a different level than the music could alone, and also leave room for the listener to sing their own tune.
Described more as a 'soundtrack to life' than an ambiance or experimental record, it is Pareidolia's unique outlook on how music should be made and heard truly sets them apart.
