1) Norwegian artist and singer Ingvild Langgård. Langgård makes music that blends dream folk, wooden instruments, psychedelia, medieval hymns and reversed singing, among other things. Her first album, The Sea was released by independent label Rune Grammofon in 2011 - a conceptual album being the first part of a forthcoming trilogy. The second part, Blackwinged Night was released in 2015 and was mastered by Greg Calbi.

Other members of Phaedra are Gunhild Mathea Olaussen (violin), Ane Marthe Holen (drums, mallets, percussion) and Jørn Tore Egseth (synths). Educated from the Academy of Fine Art in Oslo she also composes music for stage and film in addition to sound, video and installation art projects.
2) American soul vocalist Phaedra Butler, known for the tracks 'Sunshine' and a cover of Michel'le's Something In My Heart. She is a former member of girlgroup Lady-Soul, best known for their single 'If My Sister's In Trouble', featured on the soundtrack of Sister Act.
