RETRIC is the recording and performance name for Ryan Hetrick. Hetrick is currently at work finishing up his debut album,"People Inside the Speaker", which will be released in Sept of this year. The album is a melting pot of many different musical styles and genres. He has a core group of players that play with him live on a regular basis, but chooses to use the abundance of musical resources that are accesible to him in his hometown of Athens, GA.

RETRIC is the recording and performance name for Ryan Hetrick. Hetrick is currently at work finishing up his debut album,"People Inside the Speaker", which will be released in Sept of this year. The album is a melting pot of many different musical styles and genres. He has a core group of players that play with him live on a regular basis, but chooses to use the abundance of musical resources that are accesible to him in his hometown of Athens, GA. Incorporating horns, organs, and strings into the mix alongside the usual suspects of guitar, bass, and drums. Hetrick plans to tour w/ RETRIC as a trio in 2010, but will use horns, keys, and strings for some local Athens shows and the album release show. An exact release date for "People Inside the Speaker" will be made available at a later date.
