Some Reviews:
"One of those eerily enchanting voices that makes the rest of the world disappear while she's singing" -The Troubadour.
"The emotion that Sarah carries in her voice and wandering eyes draws listeners into that part of her world beyond the chords and lyrics..."
"The Seasons is admirably intimate... Sarah Lewis has an acoustic folk style which is sweetly west coast Canadiana with vocals reminiscent of Margo Timmins of Cowboy Junkies and Rachel Yamagata. The Seasons is comprised of ten well-crafted tracks which were written in the past two years with content related to the events that happened during that time: enlightenment, change, coming out, love, and heartbreak. Sarah recorded the album in Los Angeles with her brother Dave Lewis, who was a significant contributor in the album’s production, engineering, and mixing. The opening track “Uncertain” serves as a strong intro to the themes of The Seasons. “Midnight Meanderings”, my favorite track, is percussively forward-moving and revolves around philosophy behind history and it's subjectivity. “American Dream” was written by Sarah in the eleventh grade for an English project on the ‘American Dream’. In our recent correspondence, Sarah, [who is born American- bred Canadian], wrote, “I guess the hypocrisy in America and the ‘American Dream’ led me to come (back) to Canada...” In Sarah’s track “Go”, the featured cello lines pair well with her emotional intensity creating a haunting groove."

Welcome to the music of Sarah Lewis whose groove driven fingerstyle guitar playing combines blues, country, pop and folk . Her natural ability to connect with people shines through in her lyrics and expressive guitar playing, creating her own unique sound.
Her influences include Elvis, Johnny Cash, Bonnie Raitt, Simon and Garfunkel, Mark Knophler, Eric Clapton, Ray Charles, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Sheryl Crow, Jerry Reed, White Stripes and Tommy Emmanuel to name a few.
Having relocated to Barcelona in 2004 she headed out with just an acoustic guitar and started performing at jam sessions and open mics. The acoustic guitar has really given her her own voice. Her sound has developed into infectious groove driven fingerstyle arrangements accompanied by catchy lyrics. Word spread and Sarah is being offered gigs in restaurants, bars, session work for local TV and as an opening act for local bands. Things have continued to grow steadily and she is enjoying every musical minute there is. The new acoustic recording titled Always Want More - EP is available for preview and purchase via CDBaby, iTunes, Amazon. You can also download a couple of the tracks right here for free
