The Scotland Yard Gospel Choir is a Chicago based indie pop band formed by college graduates with speciality degrees in music: Matthew Kerstein (guitar/vocals), Ellen O'Hayer (cello/bass), Elia Einhorn (organ/guitar) and Sam Koentopp (drums/percussion).
Their debut single, "Jennie That Cries", was released in early 2002. The second single, "I Never Thought I Could Feel This Way for a Boy", was recorded in support of the full lenght album, "I Bet You Say That to All the Boys", in fall 2003.
