“I’ve always wanted to be more than just ordinary”, says Scott Brockett, pop/rock artist out of Portland, Oregon. “My idea even as little kid was and continues to be to get out on the road and show people what I can do”.

Honing his skills as a front man for northwest staple Holding Out, Scott has now turned his attention to promoting his new solo release "Never Give Up" [EP]. Produced by Cory Knowland out of Salem, OR and featuring The Brown Sisters on backup vocals, the 4 track EP has commercial potential written all over it. The critics rave:
"It is a soulful ode to two of Brockett’s biggest loves in
life: singing and playing guitar. He does both well and this EP is proof that he can play with the best of them"
"The "Never Give Up" EP is a set of four finely crafted and well produced songs that any musician would be proud of"
Scott counts artists such as Marc Broussard, Rob Thomas, John Mayer, and Jonny Lang as his influences to create a style that blends soul vocals with pop hooks, rock riffs and heartfelt lyrics.
