Senseless Beauty began their journey starting from the bottom moving up as most bands do. They played their first show in December 2005, as a jam band that just mixed their influences together for fun. Fast forward to December 2006, they recorded their first studio EP “If I were to be Honest…” and started taking things to a more professional level as a band, along with their eagerness to be a Christian positive light, in a music world/style that is typically dark.
Many area shows and small tours followed, where the band invested more time, money and patience. In 2007 they returned to the studio to release their first full length CD titled “Thoughts of Wolves”. From there they branched out from just area shows, to opening coastal tours for bands like Burden of a Day and Remove the Veil along with more national festivals and events.
The next few years God kept opening more doors and blessing the band with bigger opportunities. In 2010 they returned to the studio, this time using everything they had learned thus far to properly release their 2nd full length called “Surviving.”
Not long after the release long time vocalist, Shven Biermann felt God’s calling to step down in order to strengthen his faith. Brandon “Espi” Espinosa filled his place nicely with his first week opening in front of hundreds each night on a string of shows with Brian “Head” Welch.
The band decided to remix, remaster and rerecord vocals with Espi’s on “Surviving.” also adding 2 brand new additional tracks, with a release date of June 11, 2011, the album will also be renamed “Reviving.”
Recently, the band released their first professional music video for their single “Reverse the Curse” from their upcoming album release.
Senseless Beauty continues to follow any doors God opens to see where he will take them in the future and the future looks promising.
Biography
We started as most bands do, just jamming, then we decided to play our music outside of a practice space in late 2005. From there we have recorded 4 records and toured and played with many of our favorite artists, recently we have had some huge things happen especially with our NEW record "The Belonging Endeavor" which we can't say much more yet, its the biggest news our band has yet, and it will be followed by lots of touring starting in May. Stay tuned for when we announce the BIG things!!
Description
We are a group of dudes who seek to share the breath-taking beauty of the gospel with the world. We play heavy jams to convey this message and to glorify God. We exist as extensions of our father in heaven, so if you would like prayer, guidance, or you have questions you want answers to, we want to be there for you. If there is EVER anything we can do to help you in any way contact us. You can reach us by our personal pages or pull us aside at a show!
Our music is available online pretty much everywhere. Also feel free to join us before each show for some biblical studies!
