Shes Not Dead were formed in the wasteland around Leeds while Andy, Peter and Roy were still at secondary school (all be it not the same one) in 2000. After a string of unsuccessful fourth members James, fighting against A levels and glandular fever for his first gig, joined in 2004. When asked to define their music, their reply was "the phrase dark indie is as close as we can get".
So far they have released a demo- Bedtime Stories- in 2003 and an album Together We Are Strangers - in 2004.

So far they have released a demo- Bedtime Stories- in 2003 and an album Together We Are Strangers - in 2004. Also one of their tracks counterpart, was accepted to appear on a charity CD put together by Virgin XS and sold in Freeport (Leeds shopping centre) last Christmas.
This summer they're recording again (provided all goes to plan) and will hopefully have a nice shiny new CD soon.
