1. "Watching Show And Tell is like getting hit in the face by a tsunami." - Ross Turpin, Crossingpoint Bassist. Since the beginning in early 2006, S&T has brought something completely different to the Scene, their ability to find the absolute equinox between a passionate onslaught of stage presence, and heavy chaotic hardcore has made them one of the most well known bands in the South African, Hardcore/music scene today.Vibrant, and energetic they strive to give the audience something more than just music, but a performance that they can hold onto and walk away from with which they will remember till the next time they are bull-dozing there way through the pit, dodging bodies. Thrown into the fire of Durban's well known "hardcore scene" Show And Tell began wreaking havoc at shows, they became well known for there destructive fun on the stage, and soon became a favorite among the regular show-goers! "Overwhelming their audiences with seemingly excessive amounts of energy, Show And Tell remain one band that have yet to neglect the importance of treating their fans to a real live show. Don't bring your mom along, but show her the pictures." - Sheldon Yoko, Fire Through The Window Drummer. The band has always pressed as much as they could, enjoying a vast number of tours around the country along the years. They definitely have a love for being on the road and performing as much as possible.
Though there has been numerous member changes throughout the years, founders Gean Burrell and Dean Grobler have remained from the start, believing that each member has contributed something significant to what the band has now become. As each member came and went it seemed to take it's toll on the band. However, it instead brought about a sound unlike any other in S.A. The band is fulled with endless creativity, flare and hard work into every area of their music.
As they go, Show And Tell to this day remain one of the most entertaining acts around, and will continue to give all that they have, creating new and innovative music for fans to grasp hold of, songs that are hard to let go of, gripping and moving the listener. Surely, a band that will push as hard as they can to thrive in one of the toughest industries around; if anything, they have the guts to make it. "Show And Tell is by far the best band I have ever seen live, they are without a doubt my favorite local band" - Nicholas Fagg, Versus The Wolf Guitarist. Don't ever pass up an opportunity to see this band live, they will give you reason to love and support South African Hardcore music.
