TIME-LAG said SLTM is "a rather mysterious one man band solo outing from texas, who builds up layer upon layer of violin, viola, acoustic guitar, slippery electric slide, percussion, electronics, accordion, buried vocals, and found sounds into haunted, rollicking, thick sonic blankets of sound. many simple parts entwined, looped, and orchestrated into an undulating whole, like naive bedroom folkrock filtered through some blissed out minimalist phase experiment. ecstatic, post-psychedelic chamber rock maybe?"

I think SLTM is; an organic, cerebral, aural accumulator; tedious neurotic audible stop-motion; recordings leaning in on each other after being faultily put together; ideas tested and doubted and tested again but leaving record on; worry/joy/despair/etc transferred into measured intervals of rhythm and frequency that line up most of the time &, when they do, attempt to catalyze your own personal pale-blue-electricity, that's running through you anyway, and remind you that you're alive and always will be and always have been; a reminder to myself of the very same thing but committing it to a static medium; maybe I can communicate that time is the currency of life and that you should spend it wisely (?) if I can just keep telling myself that and keep doing it myself....
