Technologic were formed in 2002. Ray (back then from Poland, now living in Amsterdam, The Netherlands) has first found about Martina's (Austria) existence when he was browsing the Q&A section on the official Pet Shop Boys website. He's found a link to Martina's Mother Universe website. After hearing the songs he's found there, Ray e-mailed Martina; they started mailing each other regularly and discovered they shared the similar music tastes. Martina and Ray started writing songs together very quickly; the chemistry was there, the talent was there, and the amount of inspiration they were to each other was infinite. .... After they recorded their first song, they had an idea that Ray would remix Martina's solo track, We are technology -- which happened. This song has given them the next idea... and the next idea spawned three more. .... Ray and Martina have never met in person before May 2003; before that happened they recorded an album communicating via ICQ and e-mails, made a video, created this website and became a cult act, getting airplay in Poland and Germany. MTV PAs, more airplay, award nominations, press and DJ appearances followed. What didn't follow was a record release. An independent record label announced it would release the album, "Classic" as a glorious, double CD set. A year has passed. Two years have passed. The label still declare they're "interested". The momentum, though, has died. .... It is unclear whether Technologic have a future. They have a past to be proud of, as the songs here prove. A nostalgia act before the first release, a cult never to be discovered or megastars in parallel universe? All three of the above and more
