On a freezing day in January 2010, LB created one fateful Internet posting, Heather responded, and the ovens were formed two weeks later.

On a freezing day in January 2010, LB created one fateful Internet posting, Heather responded, and the ovens were formed two weeks later.
The ovens share a common interest in riot grrl music, confronting sexism and homophobia in punk scenes, and playing music without fear of judgment. They scream at the top of their lungs; they sing about what they want, and they want you to say, “woaaah.”
