The late 1970's , early 80's period of Canadian hard rock blues guitarist/singer Pat Travers career was his most commercially successful period and much of it spent billed as the Pat Travers Band. The hot live touring group consisted of drummer Tommy Aldridge, guitarist Pat Thrall , and bassist Mars Cowling . This lineup premiered on 1979’s Heat in the Street, 1979’s live followup Live! Go For What You Know (considered by many Travers fans to be his finest hour) and 1980’s Crash and Burn.

Drummer Aldrige later joined up with Ozzy Osbourne, and Travers continues to play blues live at festivals, nightclubs and other engagements.
