Collectively, the band's chemistry is undeniable in creating a unique and addictive sound.
Amongst buzz from press and radio alike, The Redwood Plan hit the ground running in 2009 with high energy performances to packed venues from Seattle to Austin's SXSW, charting at no. 1 on KEXP's Northwest Charts (and 9 in the KEXP Variety Charts), and landing opening slots for national acts such as The Ettes, Seaweed, and Ida Maria. John Richards (KEXP, Seattle Sound) referred to the band as, "just the kind of energy and attitude the Seattle scene was missing. The debut ep blew me away". Megan Seling (107.7FM, The Stranger) calls the band, "one of Seattle's newest and greatest dance punk bands".
The Redwood Plan worked with producer Martin Feveyear (Queens of the Stone Age, The Girls) to create their debut ep. A collection of sharp, dancey hooks, The Redwood Plan’s songs bring a heavy dose of energy for fans of The Faint, Q and Not U and Ting Tings.
