Alex Stap, Reg Eddy, Sam Welsh, Ryder Sharpe and Giovanni Ciardullo. We are a Progressive Metal band based out of Nelson British Columbia. All of us attend The Contemporary Music Program at Selkirk College in Nelson B.C, even though most of us are from different parts of Canada besides British Columbia. Alex Stap is our guitarist / Producer born in Cambridge, Ontario. Reg Eddy is our Drummer born in Regina, Saskatchewan but lived a majority of his life in Chestemere, Alberta. Sam Welsh is our Vocalist born in Penticton, British Columbia. Ryder Sharpe is our Bass player born in Vernon, British Columbia. Giovanni Ciardullo is our Guitarist/ Vocalist from Penticton, British Columbia. The formation of the band began when discussions about influences and musical idea’s were thrown around in each other’s dorm rooms. Riffs and songs started being sent back and forth from room to room when eventually it was decided that we should turn the ideas and concepts into something official. Our E.P “Of This Earth “was all recorded inside of Alex’s dorm room. From early October to late April. We think of our band to be very diverse when it comes to our sound. All of us have a very wide musical vocabulary ( for example : Nofx , Iced Earth, Gypsy Kings, Victor Wooten, Nero and so much more) which impacts the way we write our songs. Our plans for the future? Continue another year of college at Selkirk, play shows everywhere, write and record more and more music and most importantly to share our sound and our name with as many people as possible!
