2. The Skyline is a 4-piece band based in a town called Rochdale, on the outskirts of Manchester, UK. The band had initially started out as a four-piece named Third Time Lucky, which included Daniel Manchester, Danny Rosbotham and Matthew Carline in its line-up. Over the last few years, after many changes in its line-up, what was Third Time Lucky, re-invented itself as The Skyline:
Jordan Camilleri
George Webster
Danny Rosbotham
Daniel Manchester
(Matthew Carline - vocalist on TMOH EP, now an ex-member.)
In late 2005, The Skyline recorded a five-track EP entitled 'The Meaning Of Heartfelt', which they released independently, selling copies at gigs around the area and over myspace. As the band steadily build up a fan base around the Greater Manchester area, playing venues such as The Music Box and Manchester Academy 3, 2007 looks set to be an eventful year for The Skyline. They are scheduled to release a three-track EP 'Over And Out Of Control' which they recorded in April '07 with TimG at Inch Studios, Manchester. ('Over And Out Of Control' will be available for around £4 from the myspace page from June '07 onwards.
