Five years ago, brothers Riley and Drew Hamnett, as well as longtime friend Natty Coleman started writing music and playing shows anywhere that people would listen. After several national tours and the release of their highly-anticipated (sold out in Hot Topic locations nationwide) full-length album (This Island Earth, available at Hot Topic, SmartPunk.com, and iTunes) all on their own, The Trademark rounded out its lineup with guitarist Mat Deason, adding a new dimension as well as redoubling their efforts to get their brand of pop-laced rock n' roll in front of as many people as possible. This includes recording with producer Jim Wirt (Something Corporate, Incubus, Jack's Mannequin, Letter Kills, etc.) in May of 2009.
