Torsion began with George, William, Kathryn, a Korg, an Alesis QS8, and a PC. After several months of writing and practicing the group was ready to share their musical vision. Note that, early on, there was no guitarist present in the lineup. It was not until the summer of 1999 that Jef graced the stage as Torsion's live guitarist. In the interim, many sequenced sounds were used to fill the sonic landscape during live performances; and Paul Matuch was the studio-man extraordinaire for Torsion's first two recorded albums.
In 2004 Torsion began creating their new disc "Faded", an 11 track album recorded at "No Outlet Studios." Torsion then employed the talents of Tom Baker (not the Dr WHO Tom Baker) at Precision Mastering to Master the disc.

2) Torsion began in April 2006 when Fernando Fonseca met Pedro Alejandre Mendes in Barcelona. They both started to entertain the idea of making a net label and that opened also the way to the making of the project Torsion that is the encounter of two different worlds: The "beats and loops" world of Mendes with the experimental and ambiental brain of Fonseca. The result was their first release "Raindrops" that has been downloaded more than 65.000 times at the archive.org. They have also released a mini EP called "Collected Items".
2) A Barcelona based sound design duo and heads of the PublicSpaces net label.
This project creates chill-out and ambient scapes that can take you to places.
3) Maikel van Dongen, a hardcore producer from the Netherlands.
4) A collaboration of Olivier Moreau (Imminent Starvation) & John N. Sellekaers (Xingu Hill), playing a mixture of industrial, idm & ambient.
5) Torsion were a nu metal band based in Vermont, USA. They are most notable for their song "Remains", which is often mislabeled as a Slipknot demo. For many years, "Reckless Endangerment", the album from which this song came, was unavailable online in its entirety. Originally released in 2002, the album has now been found and uploaded online.
