Two Minute Hate combines the aggression of thrash punk, the attitude of grunge, the twanginess of country, the lack of talent and motivation of garage bands, (for a while, the black guy'ness of doowop), the loudness of new wave, the catchiness of muzac, the cheese of the sandwich and the beer and cigarettes and a combined effort of thirty five cents in pennies to create the unique and unpleasant sound that we have honed in on over the years. We've always sat back and looked at what makes a good band successful. We see others doing things like "tuning" instruments and "practicing" and "spending time" on stuff and we thought to ourselves "Oh! That's kinda cool..." but then we start talking about things like what would we all do if like a hawk/wasp hybrid flew in the garage and forget what we were originally talking about... What was I talking about? Oh, yeah. And then the lady farted out a nickel and called me a sloppy slot machine, curled up her nose at me and walked away mumbling about obama. And that's how I spent my summer vacation...
