We Are / She Is is a Northern Orange County band that originated around the talented pairing of composer/lyricist Merilou Salazar and musician Jessie Meehan. They spent six months in the studio writing and recording ideas and melodies until it formulated itself into their debut EP, Young and Pretty Clean. Until the release, Merilou and Jessie spent long, hard hours working close in the music industry as they prepared to launch this synth-pop sensation.

The duo draws influences from artists such as The Killers, Matt and Kim and The Ting Tings as they combine dance-synth with indie-rock. Through their DIY campaign, Jessie and Merilou build an invincible momentum as they aspire to fall nothing short of their goals. There are no boundaries for this foursome; they play what they want, they sing what they feel, and they know that every moment of it is worth the ride.
