Thhe style of Whiteqube can be best described as a mix of modern day Electro, infused with old school Techno and underground dance. If the Bloody Beetroots had an orgy with The Prodigy, Deadmau5, Knife Party, Daft Punk, Underworld, and LA Style, the result would Whiteqube (as well as a mental image we are sorry about putting in your head).

Whiteqube is Jason Schary and T. Ryan Arnold.
For all intensive purposes, Whiteqube should have never come into being. Jason Schary was born in an abandoned boron mine in the Himalayas. His father, invented the soft side of Velcro but found little calling for his invention in a country whose snap fastener industry held a monopoly on clothing securement. In frustration Schary’s father soon moved the family to the United States. It was here, spending afternoons at his father’s wig gluing plant, that Schary’s love of electronic music began developing. Eventually, this passion for dance music found Schary playing kazoo on Tantra’s dance floor smash “The Hills of Kathmandu”. He has also been a mainstay in the LA club scene since the mid 90s.
T. Ryan Arnold was born in a small fishing village on the sandy banks of the Snake River just north of Beer Bottle Crossing, Idaho. Arnold was raised by family of particularly flamboyant unicorns. These majestic, if somewhat ostentatious beasts instilled in young Arnold a strong sense of family values and an almost preternatural love for 80s synthpop icons Erasure. Arnold channelled his passion for flashy theatrical dance music in his formative years as a back up dancer in several C-C Music Factory cover bands. While completing his studies in advanced graphic design for new age and celtic CD kiosks at the University of California at Santa Barbara, Arnold became good friends with a guy who was friends with the roommate of Steve Aoki.
Then in early 2002, Jason Schary was introduced to T. Ryan Arnold at a clandestine meeting held by the Discordian Order of Malaclypse the Younger. Halfway through the third encantation of the Paratheo Anametamystikhood of Eris Esoteric, and while covered in goat’s blood, they discovered they had similar musical tastes. So they took their love of ritual animal sacrifice and electronic music and quickly became close friends.
Although the foundation for Whiteqube was set in the heady days of the early aughts, it was not until 2010 that Whiteqube was created. In a short time, Whiteqube quickly gathered a reputation as one of the most exciting acts on to come the dance scene in recent memory. Their high energy performances have sent audiences into frienzy. During these shows they cloak themselves in super-secret and highly experimental WQ jackets out of which pulses a hypnotic white glow of a pixilated video display. As if that wasn’t enough, the center piece of their stage show is a giant qube festooned with multi-colored LED lights! The enthusiastic audience reponse from anyone who has seen them live is unprecedented for such a young act. The Whiteqube live show is a multi-sensory event that is never to be missed. In an era where DJ’s are king, Whiteqube wants to change the way Electronic music is performed and perceived.
Against popular belief, neither member of Whiteqube has ever been part of the Swedish House Mafia.
2012 will be a breakout year for Whiteqube. With new material to be released as well as new shows, there is no doubt, this will be the year the band will make its mark. Stay tuned… the revolution is about to begin
