DOOR OPENS UP AT 6:00 PM...BUT IF NOBODY SHOWS UP BEFORE 7:30 PM, WE WILL CLOSE UP, DUE TO LUCK OF ATTENDANCE...IF ANY OPEN MIC PERFORMERS WILL SHOW UP BEFORE 7:30, THEN THE FOLLOWING BECOMES TRUE...

We risk loosing money by staying open 'till 8:00pm...From that point on, we will continue be open based on the money spend by customers...$18 an hour is the basic cost of keeping this place open...At 8:00pm the register must show minimum $45 to be open for another 1/2 hour, or minimum $54 for another full hour...And will stay open based on 1/2 hours($9) increments, money-time relation...11:00pm is the regular closing time, if $108 (including 1 hour clean up - 11to12) is already registered...
If this is confusing enough, you can blame it on the financial values(system) which do not care about cultural values,
at all...Shortly put it, we can not pay our bills (and believe you me, there are gazillions of them...) based only on your great stage performances, or just on your pure presence...
Yeap, this is one of those real inconvenient truths, which actually is driving to many of our current dis-functionalities,
that nobody wants to talk about...Nevertheless, they are right there, like the "big elephant in the room"...Maybe we can start this open talk/debate topic, right here too...
Despite of all of the above, I still hope to see plenty of you coming and enjoying our OPEN MICs...

AND HOPEFULLY SOON ENOUGH, THIS EVENT WILL BE VERY WELL ATTENDED, TO THE POINT WHERE ALL OF THE ABOVE CONFUSING LITERATURE, WILL BECOME TOTALLY IRRELEVANT...
