Seattle-based Marshall Law Band is an internationally acclaimed hip hop/rock/funk collective known for their fusion of funk, rock 'n' roll, reggae, and hip-hop. Their music addresses civil rights and social justice, accompanied by live instrumentation. Formed in 2017 by rapper Marshall Hugh and saxophonist Marty Thordarson,the 6-piece band has received widespread media coverage from CNN, NPR, and BBC News among several other media outlets. The group’s music focuses on individual empowerment and positive community change, using their raw lyrics and talents as a catapult for other people’s voices and passions to speak to the times at hand.
