Twenty years is a long time for anything. Most businesses, not to mention, marriages, don’t make it five years. For a punk rock band, twenty years is an absolute, unheard-of eternity. Thus, it was much to their surprise, when The Decliners found themselves about to turn twenty, in 2025. Though the four original members were now three (bassist Joey Steelhead passed away suddenly, in 2010), lead singer/frontman Nolan Void, drummer Tommy “Shivers” Morgan, and guitarist Dee Dee Hickson, together with their new (as of 2021) bassist, Brandon “Moonbeam” Peterson, The Decliners determined they should have an anniversary party, a fitting occasion to celebrate the milestone. However, as soon as word got out about The Decliners’ twentieth anniversary, what was initially planned as a simple one night/three bands rock show, quickly metastasized into a full-blown, four-day festival!
