The Waterheater's first show. Awesome artist-warehouse space, still being put together. Will probably be the coolest venue in PDX when it's all completed, ahem. Devil's Night party with costumes, food?, music, dancing, projected horror-mashups, crazy stagery, + more! This will be run kinda like a DIY-house show, so... uh respect that and expect that. Probably not a family event.

The address on the flyer and the address on the map are slightly different. Will it matter, or will I be confused upon arrival?
damn.. the waterheater website doesn't even list their own address (?!). See you guys there!
Holy shit surprise!!Sorry but everyone just found out it's 21+. sorrysorrysorry!(blame noAh)
Im not putting blame on any of the bands. i want to make that clear.I know that this evening was a let down for both the fans and the bands. | i treck all the way out to the show. I go out of my way to dress up, and they decide that its a 21 and over show, at the last possible minute. And when i go in, without half the people who showed up. i see infants in there, something isnt right. | Sad days
heya- sooper double sorry to everybody who trekked out expecting to see this show (Noah, Jeremey, Zooey, +everybody else) only to find that it was 21+ at the door. There was no idea that it was 21+ and everybody feels terrible that it turned out that way. It was a shitty communication happenings that screwed you guys over and everybody (bands, us ...) feel horrible about it. Please understand that it's a pretty rough spot to be liable for everybody so please don't hold it against The Waterheater - it's totally understandable what happened. They are pretty rad peoples running a rad space and have plans to do awesome stuffs in the future. There are plans on the way to make it up to you guys - stay tuned.
I just posted this elsewhere, but...well, check it!So, last night, a couple of really great folks threw a really great party at a really great new warehouse space. Unfortunately, and unbeknownst to everyone until the show started, the party was restricted to those under 21 - some friends were turned away, and we feel really really bad about it. Our sincerest apologies go out to everyone.According to the owners of the space (who are really great and nice people), the reason it had to be 21+ was because they don't yet have the proper permits and certifications - the party was supposed to be sort of a "hush hush" type of deal out of concern for police interference and such. We weren't even supposed to flier for it, but well, our dumbasses couldn't resist. The owners have assured us, however, that once they have permits, the warehouse will totally be all ages, all the damn time.So basically, we're really really really sorry to anyone that got turned away, and we wanna make it up to you somehow! We were brainstorming last night on how to do that, and I think we've figured it out - HUGE ALL AGES (i promise, this time!) PARTY AT THE CAMEL HOUSE NEXT WEEKEND! A great band called Atom Age are on tour and needed a place to play anyway, so it works out great! We'll be playing, Atom Age will be playing, and hopefully Jordan's new band David Duchovny will play. I haven't asked them yet, though. It'll be free, but any donations you could toss Atom Age would rule, since they're on tour. We'll prolly bake a big batch of apology cookies too. Any other bands wanna play?
