Robert E. Howard Tribute Night Robert E. Howard (1906-1936) was the father of sword and sorcery literature. His most well known characters include Conan the Cimmerian, Kull the conqueror, Solomon Kane, Red Sonja, Bran Mak Morn and many more. Join us as we pay tribute to his legacy with a night of sword and sorcery themed heavy metal! Live performances by: HYBORIAN RAGE - Portland's own Conan crushing death metal band with all songs based on Howard yarns. Celebrating the release of their first full-lenght "Kings Of The Night" CRYPTIC EDIFICE - Traditional epic heavy metal with songs based on the works of Howard, Lovecraft, Lee Falk and Lester Dent. First show back in over 2 years!! Bands have to be done by 10:30 so show up early! Chaos Force Records will have a table full of Howard books, collectables, memorabilia and original artwork! DJ Wes Craven spins sword & sorcery metal all night with barbarian movies on the projector! 21+, FREE!!!
