Air Fortress started with 1 man and a synthesizer in 2005. That 1 man was Lucas Teresi. That synthesizer was a Moog Rogue. After playing the Moog Rogue exclusively in local Portland OR band "Warp Factor 9" in the mid to late 90s Lucas decided to start a musical recording venture entitled "Air Fortress".

It is rumored the name was coined after a fond memory of an old Nintendo (8-bit) game entitled "Air Fortress" that his friend David T. (bass player for "Warp Factor 9, and more currently "Imaginary Airship") introduced him to. Air Fortress has played concerts with acts such as "The Epoxies", "8-bit Weapon", "Null Sleep", "Bit Shifter", "Square Wail", and "The Sleepy People". After a Hiatus starting in 2007 Lucas Teresi is focusing more on a new recording project with fellow band mate Jon m. in Portland Oregon.
