The band started practicing in Nov of 2006, and within the first weeks of its existence they played at Gypsymania gypsy dance discotheque created by Gogol Bordellos debaucher D.J. Dimon. Now in 2009, Chervona has since shared the stage with Portland's most exiting and famous bands including March 4th, 3 Leg Torso, Vagabond Opera, Portland Cello Project and many more. In addition to countless street and club performances Chervona has played quite a few big stages.
