The quintet earned plenty of acclaim for their 2016 debut, Paramount, and eventually signed with respected Boston indie Run for Cover, which issued their 2019 follow-up Failed Entertainment. Vocalist Jeremy Stith, guitarists Madison Woodward and Alfredo Guiterrez, bassist Daniel Samayoa, and drummer Alex Samayoa formed Fury in 2014, quickly releasing a cassette demo on D.C. imprint Moshers Delights, followed by a five-song 7" EP called Kingdom Come on Triple-B Records. Their no-frills production and punishing start-stop arrangements recalled Orange County's heyday of straight edge bands like Unity and Uniform Choice, an approach they continued on 2016's rousing full-length Paramount. The LP was a critical success and solidly established their reputation within the harcore community. The Washington DC hardcore band Fury existed briefly around 1989 and had their one recording issued in 2002 on Jade Tree records with the title Resurrection. The band featured Chris Thomson (of Ignition, Circus Lupus, Monorchid, Skull Kontrol and Red Eyed Legends) on vocals, Jason Farrell (of Swiz, Sweetbelly Freakdown and Bluetip) on guitar, Shawn Brown (of Dag Nasty, Swiz, Sweetbelly Freakdown and Jesus Eater) on bass, and Alex Daniels on drums. , 3. The US hip-hop artist from Connecticut called Fury was born Jay Flores and released his LP “Plan B” independently on his own Leathal Wreckords label. 4. American hard rock band from Hamilton, Ohio founded around 1978 by Nick Rotundo and Jimi Dee Gadd. 5. Fury are a Heavy Metal band from the West Midlands, UK. Their love of the old school metal of Iron Maiden and Metallica are clear, but the rich and soulful voice of Julian Jenkins sets the band apart from the rest. Fury have released two EP's: "Dawn of Survival and "Burn the Earth and a full album "The Lightning Dream", the band returns to the live arena with a thrilling and raucous new album "Born To Sin ’ (released March 2022). The new chapter is stronger than ever with the line up featuring bassist Becky Baldwin (Mercyful Fate live 2022 & Hands off Gretel) the thunderous Tom Fenn (Torous, Brassick) on drums, Tom Atkinson (Vice, ex-Absolva) on guitar and the powerhouse Nyah Ifill on co-lead vocals. With the live music scene back in stride, Fury have taken their two new albums and a lot of pent up energy back on the road for a very exciting ‘Back From Hell’ tour! 6. The Australian Thrash Metal band called Fury from Broken Hill are now called The Harrowed. 7. Proto-punk band from New York City, NY, USA active in the early 70's. Changed name to Absolva in 2012. 10. Fury were a Southampton band incl. Mark and Steve Owers (guitar and bass) and John Francis (vocals). Became XS and later, After Hours after Mark & Steve left.
