1. Hatred - German Thrash Metal Band:
Hatred are orientating their sound mainly to fast Bay-Area-Thrash-Metal of the 80s, as bands like Exodus, Metallica or Testament played it. They are also mixing some elements of Power Metal in their music, like high screams and melodic choruses. The new album “Madhouse Symphonies” adds with longer atmospheric parts some new facets to the sound of the Band.
The new sound of the oldschool!

Early in the year 2004, Hatred participated in Gimnazijada in Belgrade, which was the most visited performence (over 1000 visitors) and the following CD has been released, including two Hatred live recorded songs from the competition. Hatred also passed the qualifications for Demo Masters Tournament 2, the festival of demo bands, which was finished early in the year 2005, and then participated in the superfinal night of the Tournament which was held in Studio 6 Of Radio Belgrade.

In August of 2007, band passed the qualifications for Zajecar Guitar Fest, which is the biggest demo festival in the country, and got into the semifinals with 11 other demo bands. The Dutch Hatred is one incarnation that still is active. The band recently signed a deal with Deity Down Records (also from The Netherlands). See bio below, and press release in the "related" section

Hatred was founded in January 1999 when Dutch metal-diehards Peter de Jonge (bass guitar) and Peter van der Schraaf (guitar) joined forces. Within the year the band recorded a demo CD at the Harrow studio, Holland, which was very well-received.
Hatred played a lot of shows to promote their recording and whilst doing so the band experienced some line-up changes. In the meantime the band worked hard writing new material, which was recorded in november 2002 at -again- the Harrow studio. "Chaos In The Flesh" was subsequently released in january 2003.
In the meanwhile Hatred continued to pulverize stages across the land and abroad as well, playing with foreign acts such as Vader, Suffocation, Grave and Lord Belial.
The summer of 2006 saw the arrival of Koen Dingemans (Stronghold) as the new vocalist/frontman.
