Combining a lust for lyrical content and a twisting passion for alternate tunings, “One From Many” or O.F.M., has suddenly become a formidable force in the Northwest alternative rock scene. The band’s (soon to be released) first full length album, “The Alleged Album”, showcases catchy, creative instrumentation with unhinged melodies delivered from lead vocalist Andrew Supina. With standout tracks such as “Retrospective” and “Shape of Your Heart”, it has been hard to hide the buzz of what the album is sure to deliver to rock fans and non-rock fans alike.
With the help of their new indie label “Olea Records” and some long overdue realized potential, O.F.M. has recently moved from a locally anchored band to making a credible impact on a much broader scale. Tour preparations, sponsorships, and investment infusion have made the tipping point within feasible grasp.
O.F.M.’s recent work on their previously mentioned upcoming album has also been a major catalyst in the recent buzz and momentum. Working with producers Geoff Ott (3 Doors Down, Alice in Chains, Nickelback, Blake Lewis) and Rob Daiker (Katy Perry, The Fame Riot, Royal Bliss) , the band was able to mesh their desire for organic and timeless music with the sonic tone and professional recording necessary for a major release.
A collection of true friends, Josh McCormick (guitar), Joshua Elie (guitar), Joe Von Hagen (bass), and Lead Vocalist/Lyricist, Andrew Supina, are committed to writing songs that convey their multiple influences. The chemistry formed from years working together and a spontaneous “family affair” writing style has left no room for pretense. They possess a passion for making quality music that conveys a message and keeps you coming back for more.
All in all, O.F.M. is an emerging act that prides itself on dedication, hard-work, and most of all an honest personal investment in their music. Look for their upcoming LP “The Alleged Album”, due to be released in the Fall/Winter of 2012.
