Nearing the end of 2009, Orin Loft (the at the time singer for Ode to the Fallen) & Paul Milot (ex-Ode to the Fallen) decided to jam together once more. Nearing the end of 2009, Orin Loft (the at the time singer for Ode to the Fallen) & Paul Milot (ex-Ode to the Fallen) decided to jam together once more. As the jamming began, they enlisted the help of guitarist and song writer David Nebbs (more bands than you can handle!), and came to enjoy jamming together. After a few cover songs were acquired, Run For Cover, in an early stage, opened for Ode to the Fallen & Protocol at a local venue with mixed receptions.
2010 started with a pretty big kick for the band, as Ode to the Fallen was put on hold, leaving Orin Loft more time to work on other projects, Run For Cover got back together and jammed out their first original song, "Mad as a Hatter". At this pivotal moment, the trio was completed with the addition of ex-Peroxyde guitarist Stephen Young.
Since then, Run For Cover has shared the stage with metal acts such as Black Lungs, The Reds, Ode to the Fallen & Protocol, indie acts such as Peroxyde & Primitive Notion and rap acts such as N.K. & Clarity. After a long run of jamming and shows, Run For Cover is back in the studio working on their full EP to be released early 2011.
EP "God Hates Twang" is now out.
