Yesterday was ANARKA AND POPPY, female fronted punk from 1982. Today is SALTED CITY, the 2009 version of the same animal. Hard hitting and heavy handed Portland, Oregon punk with killer guitar work (likely even better now with the addition of a second axeman) with equal emphasis on Ginger's vocals and the crushing guitars.
