From the streets of Los Angeles in 2006 The Triggers rose when members of several mainstay Spanish Ska-Punk bands decided to strike out on their own and create a whole new sound to distinguish themselves from the existing punk pack.
Since then Los Angeles has gained a band that has become a breath of fresh air with their innovative new style, dubbed "Punkabilly", from their combination of Punk, Ska, Psychobilly and a twinge of Western Rock'N'Roll for good measure, Chris Suicide created THE TRIGGERS
The now fully formed Triggers all star line up featuring: Vocals - Chris Suicide (Chencha Berrinches), Lead Guitar - Dan Palmer (Death By Stereo & Zebrahead), Rhythm Guitar - Steve Espinoza (Chencha Berrinches), Upright Bass - Matt Salamanca (Mad Marge & The Stonecutters & Calavera), Drums - Adam Guerrero (Rezurex, Henchmen). Making for an explosive combination.
Their breakthrough debute album, 'NEXT RISING SUN' released on IHP RECORDS is abounding with compelling guest vocalists: Elvis Cortez of LEFT ALONE, Daniel De Leon of REZUREX and Chris Slander of THE SLANDERIN lending their voices to The Triggers unique sound. Drawing on their personal experiences from varied cultural backgrounds and extensive touring to write & record 16 honest, poetic, melody-driven songs. They have been featured on numerous compilations, domestic & international.
Constantly looking toward the future, the band is currently recording their sophomore album "LOST ANGELES WILL RISE" due to release July of 2013 on IHP RECORDS (EUROPE) & RUDE RUNNER RECORDS (JAPAN). With a tour sure to follow in support.
