There are two bands named Stale:
1) German band from the mid 90's that blended elements of screamo, prog, pop and punk with flawless precision. All lyrics were sung in their native german. They have only one self titled release, it was released by Alveran Records in Germany.
2) There is also a screamo/post-hardcore band from Michigan by the name of Stale. Not much is known about them and they only released one CD-r EP.
