The Taxi Boys were the successor and predecessor of the Real Kids. When the original band split up in 1980, a couple of them (including, songwriter/singer [person]John Felice[/person]) moved on to form The Taxi Boys (named after a Real Kids' song). Some time later, a new Real Kids were born, although with a different lineup than the original... the only two involved with the 2nd incarnation were John Felice and bassist Alan "Alpo" Paulino.
