There is more than one artist that goes by Terraform.
1. A Portland, Oregon based art punk/no wave band.
Terraform was formed in the Winter of 2008 by guitarist Susan Subtract and drummer Paul Billy Sobiech. Rather than playing his guitar and singing in a traditional manner, Subtract instead focused on making unique and unusual sounds and contorting his voice. The music has been described as sparse, noisy, mechanical, and dancey and has been compared to early Devo, Arab On Radar, and various bands from the Bay Area Art-punk scene in the 70s.

Terraform originally consisted of Subtract, Sobiech, and José DeLara. Terraform was so named by persons unknown after a drunken night of squabbling about it at dekum manor. A few months and five shows later, it was clear than Sobiech’s main project, Holy Holy Smokes, and DeLara’s main project, Ganglionn, were going to interfere heavily with Subtract’s plans and ambitions. After the rapid departure of Sobiech and DeLara, he quickly recruited Mark Makowski and TJ Walter, from the local band Dinner & the Maincourse, on drums and saxophone respectively, and Jon Myers on bass. Then, quite unexpectedly, Walter decided he should move back to Southern California and start going to school. With Dinner & The Maincourse breaking up, Makowski decided to go a different route as well. Without a skip, Terraform endured and took on Katarina Lestenburger, a potential sax player from before DeLara even joined the band, and Jeff Brodsky of acts such as POWER NAP, Inside Voices, Jeffery Jerusalem, YACHT, and more. Katarina left due to health issues, Brodsky left to tour with Yacht. Naveed Mir of The Boo Jays, responding to an internet classified ad on The Mercury site, became the drummer Terraform had been looking for all along. Eventually, Subtract decided to move to Los Angeles and persue his other project BRANES. Talk of one last tour comes up now and then, as well as a posthumous release of their last studio session that includes 5 previously unrelease tracks.
