There are at least three acts that go by the name Kowloon, two from Japan and the latter two from the US.
1) kowloon is an instrumental trio from Tokyo, Japan that started activities in 2005. Members are teppei takahashi (bass, guitar, micro korg), keisaku nakamura (synthesizer, rhodes, piano) and umeki taichi (drums). 2) KOWLOON is a 3-piece pop-rock outfit from Nagoya, Japan formed in June, 2002. Members are Shinsuke Kawai (vocal, guitar, words and composition), Maki Sasaki (drums and chorus) and Seiya Furuta (bass and chorus). 3) Kowloon is a rock band formed in Portland, OR in 2009. The lineup consists of Joshua McCaslin, Don Ankrom, and Mike Dugan. Their official myspace is located at http://www.myspace.com/kowloonportland.
4) Kowloon is a musician and filmmaker from Los Angeles, California. His debut album, ‘Come Over’, was released on July 2, 2021; and was written, performed, recorded and mixed in his home studio.
