And like most characters played by Clint Eastwood, he hated punks, which is what Portland-based trio the Eiger Sanction is composed of. But don’t be fooled. The band fires through old-school gutter punkery with a snarl often lost to the wayside of pop temptation. The songs are short and shredding. The vocals are frayed and vicious.
