The Days The Nights’ story began in an abandoned warehouse in the frigid Pacific Northwest. In a cavernous space filled with cold winds and littered with broken glass, four guys came together and began crafting songs encompassing both pop hooks and colorful hard rock riffs.
Often needing to play in gloves while huddled around a small space heater, the songs reflect not only the grittiness of the environment but also the liberation and simple joy delivered by pure rock, and roll. Having played in indie, hardcore and post-hardcore bands, the members of The Days The Nights enmesh their histories and deliver a unifying sound unrestrained by the self-consciousness and fashion of the day.
This is rock with a mischievous grin and a wink. Subtle? No. Melancholy? No. Snake like grooves? Yes, hell yes.
