1) THE HUMANS are three people.
TOYAH WILLCOX, BILL RIEFLIN and CHRIS WONG. Rieflin comes from the opposite side of the world to Willcox and Wong, and from radically different musical backgrounds, they are bringing together life times of musical experience.

THE HUMANS live show is song based but the songs are deconstructed down to the bones of raw experience exposing human nature and irony. Comparisons are always misleading but if The White Stripes met with the vocal adventures of Lou Reed, Kate Bush, Gabriel and Beefheart then you might get a flavour of things to come...
THE HUMANS recorded an album in Seattle, USA which was released in May 2009 as a strictly limited edition Estonian Edition CD to commemorate the band's gig at Tartufest.
2) The Humans HAVE BEEN WRITING SONGS SINCE BEFORE BIRTH!.... They have appeared on, MTV, VH-1, THE CONAN OBRIEN SHOW many CTV appearances both S.I. and N.Y.C. aswell as MTV-ONLINE ,ONLINE T.V. and more! THE HUMANS ! have been featured in TIME OUT NY as one of NYC's TOP 10 BANDS aswell as NEW YORK MAGAZINE, THE NY TIMES, THE POST,THE DAILY NEWS, SOUND VEIWS, ANTI-MATTERS,THE STATEN ISLAND ADVANCE AND MUCH MORE!
This twin brother fronted psychedelic dream pop band has been making music since the early 90’s
and are still cranking out the gems! Dan and David found a home at Lach’s Anti-folk scene and have been joined by some true underground greats in their history, like (Anti-Folk legend) Joe Bendik, Andrew Green from (The Budos Band), the late great Andy Morris (Plastic Eaters), Tim Curtis, Jay Headberg (both of NYC’S Nuclear Boy fame) and avant garde super star David Dragov formally on bass now on piano and Hammond organ. The bothers human have also been playing live with guru percussionist Damian Scro for the past few years and are about to release a new record.
The Humans
As the band have been recording they have been obsessed with The Stone Roses and the 60’s trippy harmony, and the result is melodies that get stuck in your head, a dream like combo of jangle guitar and hypnotic drums staring in a mist of haunting piano and psychedelic late 60’s era organ. The result is sounding like The Beta Band meets early Creation Records sound. Sure to be another amazing Human album to get lost in.
