The Seatbelt Tragedy is a rock and roll band from Portland, Oregon. Over the first year of their existence, The Seatbelt Tragedy, forged ahead from previous Portland projects to carve out a genre for themselves. Playing by only their own rules (and some musical theory rules) they've compiled a playlist that is uniquely their own, and continue to experiment with fresh ideas and push their musical abilities. Only a month after tracking and self-releasing a 5 song EP representing their sound, the group embarked on a 2 week tour with local Portland band Upon Beauty Rests(Jibe Records).
