1. Therapist(Nikola Efremov) started listening to electronic music in 1997 after getting an album of Astral Projection and he was dazzled by the sounds and the unique vibes. As the years passed he developed his taste in electronic music in the progressive trance, hardcore, psychadelic, goa and ambient genres, influenced by countless artists and DJs. Music became his religion. At the age of 17 he took his first steps in mixing known as Born2Rave, concentrated mainly in trance sound. The next year he changed his allias to Therapist and gradually broadened his interests, generally in the ambient and psychedelic genres. Not long after he recieved invitations to step on the scene by leading ambient DJs in Bulgaria on parties and events, including the Earth Dance 2008 festival and Trakia Psyfriends 2009. Up to date Therapist has released few sets in various genres.
2.Therapist is a four piece indie band with members: Suz residing in Phoenix, AZ,and both Ant, Vic, and Michael residing in California. Influenced by The Chinese Stars, Moving Units, The Rapture, Death From Above 1979, and Glass Candy, Therapist promises a good time on the dance floor. Therapist also has remixes by Blake Miller (Moving Units/DIM MAK), Ese' & Zain (Shark Attack & All Leather/Three One G Records), Boys Don't Disco (SD), and Night Brawl (SD).
3. Therapist has just recently entered the scene, with members from both Hampton Roads and Roanoke, Virginia. They've made it a point to seperate themselves from the average music coming out in their area. After releasing a demo and getting their name out, they played a few shows within a couple weeks of this only to record a full length record "This is All Coming to an End" that released on october 31st, 2006. Therapist prides itself in the fact that everything that's been done they've done themselves. They hope to find a record label to call 'home' soon.
