1) Tristen (born Tristen Gaspadarek, November 23, 1983) is an American singer-songwriter and musician. She has released five albums: Teardrops and Lollipops (2008), Charlatans at the Garden Gate (2011), C A V E S (2013), Sneaker Waves (2017), and Aquatic Flowers (2021). She also performed as a member of Jenny Lewis's live band in 2015.
Growing up in the Chicago suburb of Lansing, Illinois, where her musician father instilled in her a love of music, she began singing and took up the piano at the age of 8. Upon graduating DePaul University in 2007 – with a degree in Relational, Group, and Organizational Theories of Communication – Tristen decided to focus on her music and moved to Nashville.
In February 2011 she released her label debut "Charlatans at the Garden Gate".
Her follow-up, C A V E S, was released in October 2013.
Tristen's fourth album, Sneaker Waves, was released in July 2017.
Her fifth album, Aquatic Flowers, was released in June 2021.
