Reviews:
Listen.com: "Although inspired by high-tech sci-fi -- namely, popular author William Gibson -- Wintermute's music isn't jagged, jerky, paranoid or frenzied, but more of an ambient wash of lovely textures and sounds that stay on the more positive, uplifting side of House and new age. Some lovely, classically-tinged moments. "
Raw 42: "floating in a black, empty void framed by distant stars, all is quiet. suddenly there is a faintly imagined trickle of sound which rapidly becomes more distinct...

7. Wintermute is a moniker of Florian Förster from Leipzig, Germany, which he uses for all of his bass-driven music productions. He excels in producing eclectic musical pieces, which vary from deep, minimal drum’n’bass tunes to techno and dubstep excursions. Beside his love for abysmal basslines and touching melodies, he is also delving into the intricacies of sounddesign and scoring. In addition to his releases on Trust in Music and Katakis, he is also affiliated with the german netlabel digitalGEWITTER and the demoscene-related NoSYS Productions, which regularly release music under Creative Commons Licence.
