His early years as an artist were built around releases to the social platform SoundCloud, As well as collaborative works with viral hit contemporary Caspr. As well as a fruitful friendship with LA-based collective yards4le. Particularly with engineering assistance from member noahmadethiss.
Pushing for a more professional image. Dog would release an album built for attention on mainstream music platforms Apple Music & Spotify. His first five seconds of fame moment found in the single Suicide. Featuring stripped-back guitars and melancholy vocals. This track would grab the attention of the YouTube channel Astari. Astari (early adopter of Lil Peep, 6 Dogs) would expand Dog's reach globally.
With this foundation in place, Dog was invited to the roster of indie label Cleopatra Records. Through Midwest Math Rock guitars, performed by Hottub Johnny, and distorted singing, a Monster was born. Monster's inverted reflection Good Boy would release later that year.

2) DOG are a drum ’n’ bass, dub, hip-hop punk outfit that revolve around Mark Sayfritz, a sound engineer and programmer who’s worked with Goldie, Ian Brown and who wrote the incidental music for High Fidelity. He has toured the States with Jane’s Addiction and spent four years in Nigeria recording African tribes. DOG is his sideline, but over the last year it has evolved into a full-time job.
“We see it as a collective,” he says. “In a normal format a band has one singer but in this band there are four people who take the front at different points in the set.” These people include Mark’s drum ’n’ bass programming associate Ice and his rapper brother Pink. Also on vocals is Hamish Clark, a 6ft 8in New Zealander who’s worked with hip-hop giants The Nextmen.
