Aussie 1970's punk band who was called JAB (all captials) from Adelaide who relocated to Melbourne to record thier songs. They are regarded as the first Australian group to marry electronica and a hard-edged guitar sound. JAB broke-up by the 1980's but members who formed bands Models and Sacred Cowboys. Ash Wednesday is now a touring member of the legendary German band Einstürzende Neubauten, Bohdan was recruited to an independent FM radio station which became 3RRR, Australia's most successful community radio station and still has a phone-in slot on Vital Bits show on Saturday mornings. 3. JAB is a Japanese rapper who released one album in early 2010, Standard Process, as well as one free digital EP containing remixes of songs from the album. 4. JAB is the new alias of John Also Bennett, member of Forma and Seabat amongst others. After the release of Thoughts of a Dot As It Travels a Surface with Christina Vantzou on Shelter Press in 2018, JAB released his first solo full length Erg Herbe, also on Shelter Press, in March 2019. The record features minimalist atmospheric pieces weaving synths and flute. 5. JAB Junior Alli-Balogun, aka JAB is a London-based percussionist who makes music somewhere between spiritual jazz and deep house.
