Ninja Turtle Ninja Tiger (aka NTNT) is a four piece, indie dance ensemble from Portland
Oregon who has seemingly come from nowhere to set the night spinning on fire with
explosive performances and songs that pulse with energy. Led by the colorful Dustin
Brown on vocals and guitar, NTNT is also Jon West on guitar, James Lesure on synth

debut album, I’ll Find You in the Colors, will be released Spring 2012 and will coincide
with a tour of the Northwest.
From the humble beginnings of a frustrating attempt at a music career from the meth-
ridden suburbs (the "nowhere") of Salem, Oregon, Brown knew it was time to either give
up, or make some tremendous changes. For Brown, moving to Portland in 2011 was a
now or never, do or die, leap of faith...an escape from an old way of life, a rebirth. From
out of all this, NTNT came to life. Not just a musical outlet, but as a performance outlet,
a chance to make their shows not just another concert, but an event. Taking a page
out of The Flaming Lips performances, Brown takes on a persona where he wants the
audience to feel as free as he does onstage.
NTNT creates music that bridges the gap between background/mood music and the
shit you can really get into. The music that makes you think. Music that you have
to listen to more than once to really understand its true heart. I’ll Find You in the
Colors is a representation of just that. It’s an expression of excitement and growth and
the message to always hope instead of fear. Infused with a belief that life should be
celebrated to the fullest in all forms, and a hope that you should find joy in even the
hardest times.
So, should you find yourself driving down the road on a sunny day with the windows
down, dancing your ass off at their show, or laying down on your couch with a set of
good headphones, Ninja Turtle Ninja Tiger hope that I’ll Find You in the Colors will take
you to wherever it is you want to go, and that in the end, it would bring you all the way
back home.
