Security In Numbers “S.I.N” was formed in June of 2010. Josh Kile and Joel Williamson (long time friends, and band mates through the years) at the time were playing in a local nu-metal band Broken Cell, and had discussed the ideas of starting a side project playing punk rock. Josh and Asher Fay worked together in a local tattoo shop in Eugene, OR. After some time together Asher told Josh of his previous bands, Spun, 13th Insight & Straight Line. The three friends discussed doing a punk band together and with in a few months “S.I.N” was formed. (Not long after forming S.I.N. the members of Broken Cell parted ways and “S.I.N” soon became Josh and Joel's main focus.)
The members performed their first show as a band at the Black Forest in Eugene, OR on December 4th, 2010. With their brand of Punk Rock mixed with 50's Rock N Roll, “S.I.N” surpassed everyones expectations and left the crowd wanting more. Security In Numbers has had a great response and is regularly been asked back by the venues and the bands they have played with. In the short time of the bands career they have gained a small following playing in and around Eugene OR, as well as releasing a self titled 6 track EP which is available for free download at: www.reverbnation.com/securityinnumbers.
