The quartet brings renewal, but also lets their listeners go back in time to the roots of their music, the time conquered by bands as MC5 and Iggy and the Stooges. There are two lead vocalists, with one of them at the drums. This creates raw vocals, supported by an equal amount of guitar noise, sometimes alternated by a screeching guitar solo or a laid-back bass lick. All in all: not melodious with a raw edge, but rather plain raw with a melodious edge.
2) The Punctuals are an unsigned band from Bury St Edmunds, who started out as The Anti-Socials in early 04' as a three piece, with Fred Cretin moving in on guitar late 05'. Since their beginnings they have made a sound which incorporates aspects from early fast hardcore such as Bad Brains and Minor Threat, hardcore punk rock like that of the great Dead Kennedys and hints of British anarcho-punk such as Subhumans and Crass etc. They put on one of the most energetic and chaotic shows around displaying more than just youthful energy and hopefully they will grow into a band that shall one day, truly be a force to be reckoned with.
